Strikers pull off stunning jailbreak - Abhay (Strikers)

Lightning has finally struck in this QPL rainy run season. Tremendous batting by Manas (Mr. Dependent) helped Strikers to pull off stunning jailbreak. He made light of another massive chase. He smashed 53 off just 20 balls with the heart catching hits in the last over against Here for Beer. What made it better was that this came against the best defenders in the QPL and he recorded a first fifty of this QPL season as well.

The scenes at the QPL Stadium were scarcely believable as Strikers' turnaround of a campaign that had begun so disastrously culminated in the most fairy-tale of finishes. Here for Beer put on their best by giving Strikers to chase 72 off 36 balls. Swami did his best by hitting the balls all the corners of the ground and helped Here for Beer to put on a big total in the scoreboard. Strikes batted really poor at the start but it was Manas, who swung his bat and lifted this eye catching match for Strikers in the heart breaking last over. Uttam Takalkar rose from the long off fielding area and flung his Here for Beer cap to the ground as the team he was mentoring completed the most spectacular of meltdowns to lose an un-loseable game.
