Terms and Condition
1. The Tournament is open to all Corporate and Clubs

2. All the matches will be played on 20 over rules as per the BCCI law and implemented by GLSA subject to special playing condition prescribed by the rules of GLSA.

3. All matches will be played in League and knock out basis.

4. Umpires, Scorer, balls and water will be provided by the organizing committee.

5. Liquor and smoking is strictly prohibited on the ground. If found guilty the team will be terminated immediate effect.

6. Matches will be held on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.

7. Matches will be played in 3 sessions in case of 20 over?s Match ? 7.30am, 10.45am and 2.15pm

8. Each bowler will be allowed to bowl only one fifth of the total over?s in an innings(4 over?s in 20 over?s match)

9. 2 points will be awarded to the winning team for each match.

10. Before the toss both the captains has to produce the playing 11 to the umpires and no alteration is allowed after the toss.

11. Teams should bring their own kit.

12. No players will be allowed to play more than one team

13. Umpires decision is final. Any disputes should be raised by the captains with GLSA committee after the match. The team walking out due to any disputes will lose that game and the other team will be declared the winner of the match.

14. Cricketing Whites and sports Shoes is mandatory.

15. Teams have to report 30 minutes before the start of the match.

16. Match can be started if minimum 7 players in each team are available on the ground during the start of the match.

17. In the event of tie, super over will decide the winner of the match.

18. In case of rain interrupts in the middle of the match minimum 10 over?s of second half should have been completed then the team with better net run rate will be awarded the win and two points.

19. In knock out stage start of the match raining alternate date will be issued by the tournament Committee and again rain interrupts that day finally by the spin of the coin winning team will be decided.

20. For 20 over?s matches - Only two fielders are allowed outside the 30 yard circle in the first six over?s. After six over?s a minimum of 4 fielders plus the keeper and bowler should remain inside the 30 yard circle, otherwise no ball will be called given to one run and for over stepping by the bowler one runs will provided to opponent team & next ball will be free hit..

21. After call for a overstepping no ball a batsman gets a free hit. He can only be dismissed by run out, handling the ball, obstructing the field or hitting the ball twice.

22. Bowling of fast high full pitches: A fast high full pitched ball shall be defined as a ball that passes or would have passed in full above the waist height of a batsman standing upright at the crease. Should a bowler bowl a fast high pitched ball, either umpire shall call and signal ?No ball?.

23. There shall be not more than five fieldsmen on the onside at the instant of delivery (throughout the match) and not more than two behind the popping crease on the onside (throughout the match).

24. In the event one bouncer will be allowed one over & signal one warning to the bowler.

25. Any form of man handling or threats on the field or sidelines will result in the player being banned for a minimum of three games. Repeated breach of the Fair Play standards will also result in players being banned.

26. Teams that have players continually breaching the Fair Play standards will also be asked to leave the league.

27. GLSA has full rights to cancel, pre pone and post pone the match due to unavoidable situation like natural disaster or political reason.
