We take this opportunity to introduce our Association THE KARIKAL DISTRICT CRICKET ASSOCIATION blossomed from a group of Cricket players and Sports lovers 12 years back aimed at promoting and developing the game of Cricket in the region.

We are glad to inform you that our Association is the oldest one in this region under the Societies Act 1860 and is the only Association which is affiliated to THE PONIDHCERRY CRICKET ASSOCIATION which is turns in affiliated to the Board of Cricket Control in India. The Karaikal District Cricket Association (KDCA) conducting league matches for the every year.

We have 28 teams of our association separated into two divisions and each division is converted to ?A? Pool and ?B? Pool and each Pool consist of 7 teams.

I division matches will be conducted on 40 overs format, II division matches will be conducted in 25 overs format, the winners of I,II divisions will be awarded ONGC-KDCA rolling trophy and runners-up team will get their individual prizes.

In the first division in both Pools two teams scored least points will be depromoted to the II division for the next year league and in the II division top two placed teams in both Pools will be awarded and promoted to I division, the two teams scored least points in II division will be out of the league championship and these vacancies will be filled up from the new clubs who shall apply for participation in the qualifying match for the next year league championship.
