OVERS
•All matches will be of twenty overs and maximum of four over per bowler will be allowed per match
•First six overs are mandatory for powerplay for each team and maximum of two player will be allowed outside 30 yards. For non-power play overs maximum of five fielder will be allowed outside 30 yards.

PLAYERS
•Team will constitute of 16 players and 11 players will be playing a match. No new player beyond 16 will be allowed to play.
•Players of different house will be allowed only when the opposing captain has no objection.
UMPIRE AND SCORER
•Each house captain is requested to select and submit the name of one Umpire and one scorer
•Only these umpires and scorer will be allowed to do umpiring and scoring during matches. Also arguing with umpire will lead to disciplinary measure mentioned in Punishment section.

REPORTING TIME
•Every team must reach ground at least half hour before the schedule time of match.
•However, a team reaching late will lead to reduction of overs but if team reaches late by half-hour bye will be given to opposing team.
•Also, over reduction will be allowed for first two instance per team afterwards bye will be given within half hour delay from scheduled time.
OUT
•All the T20I rules will be followed except LBW.
Note: Batsman will be given runout if he is out while taking run via leg bye.
RUN
•All the rules of T20I except leg bye. Leg bye will not be considered as run. However, Runout is allowed on leg bye.

OTHERS
•One bouncer per over is allowed. Second will be considered as no ball.
•A ball reaching batsman in two pitches will be considered as no ball not a dead ball
•A wide beamer will be considered as no ball.
•Boundary need not to be same for all matches however it will be same for both innings of a match.
•All the matches will be played on mat.
•Due to lack of time there will be no reschedule of match
•Winning team will be awarded two points. In case of draw 1-1 point will be awarded to both teams.
•In final ranking if there is a tie of point between two teams then team winning the match between those two during lead will be given priority. Not on the basis of run rate.

AWARDS

•One wicket will be considered as 15 run and man of the match, Man of the series will be selected on that basis. There will be trophy for man of the series.
•Highest scorer, wicket taking bowler, if not from final year will be selected in SMVDU cricket team.
•Emerging Player of tournament, Best Player of tournament.
•Top three teams, umpires and scorers will be awarded with Trophy, Medals & Certificate.
