AMA starting cricket tournament from 4/5/16 to 15/5/16
Total 16 teams participating
6/5/16 & 9/5/16 rest days due to non availability of ground
Four groups. Each group with four teams.
Daily 2 matches
Each match of 12 overs.
Reporting time for 1st match 8.00 pm. Match will start at 8.30 pm sharp.
2nd match , reporting time 9.45 pm & match will start at 10.15 pm.
We will play from one side of the pitch only.
Each teams will have to bring there own kit, we will provide balls, stumps & bails.
If ground staff will draw inner circle, that rule of inner circle will be applicable for 1st 3 ovres, during which only 3 fielders will be allowed outside the circle.
Minimum 5 bowlers will have to do the bowling. only 2 bowlers can bowl max of 3 overs.
AMA will provide T shirts to 14 players of each team.
Each team will provide different colour t shirts.
For trousers captain can decide colour code, but has to of same colour, eg white, black etc.
On leg side there should not be more than 5 fielders during any point of time of match.
Sports shoes is must for all playing 11.
Each top team from each group will go for semi final, which will be played on 14/5/16. Final will be on 15/5/16.
Top team will be decided on the basis of points & net run rate.
In case of tie match super over will decide the result. Only runs scored will be taken into consideration ( Irespectiv of wickets)
In each group eventhough there are four teams , each team will play only 2 matches during league stage. Eg. A1-A2, A2-A3, A3-A4 & A4- A1.
Draw for tournament is scheduled on 30/4/16, Saturday at 8.30pm at AMA hall. All the captains are requested to remain present. If it is not convinient for captain ,send any team member.
Each team captain requested to send there full team to AMA office or on this group before 2/5/16.
Each team can send maximum of 16 names & then no change will be allowed .
Each team will be given 14 t shirts.
Rest of the rules are as per international cricket.
