A. Umpire
? Team captains to nominate 2 guys from each team for scoring and umpiring
? Umpire decision is FINAL. Arguments with umpire may lead to Game suspension
? In case of doubt, please consult with leg umpire and come to a joint decision
? In case of any match conflicts (beyond umpires and captains), Organizers/Referee will take in charge.
B. Team Captain
? It is responsibility of captain that team adhere to the rules and regulation of HCA. Inappropriate
behavior on and off ground by a team could lead to disqualification from tournament. Organizers will
take final call on it.
? Team captain must ensure that each member of team is holding a valid German visa (not less than
months). Players with business visa not allowed to play.
? Captain can be asked by organizers to show valid visa document of players. Any discrepancy may lead
to disqualification of team from tournament.
C. Game Points
? Each team gets 2 points on win, tie 1 and 0 on loose.
? In case of teams with equal points in a group, NRR will be considered to qualify for semi finals.
? Semi-Finals and Finals: If a match is a draw, the match will be determined with a SUPER-OVER for
the winner.
D. Wides
? Run + extra ball. Anything on leg side is a Wide; Umpire decision is final.
? Anything on leg is wide.
E. No ball
? There is free hit for all no balls.
? Batsmen can only be declared out on a run-out for free hit.
? Above waist full toss
? Only one bouncer per over above shoulder allowed. Second bouncer above shoulder is no ball.
? Ball above head is no ball.
? Extra run + ball, catch not out. Umpire decision is final
F. Overs
? 10 overs per innings during league games and 12 over in semifinal and 15 overs in final.
? Maximum 2 overs per bowler during league games
? Maximum 2 overs per bowler and two bowlers can bowl 3 overs each in semifinal.
? Maximum 3 overs per bowler during final games.
G. Byes, Leg byes, LBW, overthrow, dead ball
? Byes- yes
? Leg byes -No
? LBWs-No
? Overthrows-Yes
? Dead ball Nothing - Zero runs, Zero ball count. Dead ball means: The ball pitches two or more times
before the batting crease (not before the batsman). Low kept balls are not dead balls. Consult leg
umpire.
? The ball is Vicky hard tennis ball.

H. No of players
? No of players is 11 in each team.
? If there are less players, play with less only
? Players are not allowed to change teams during the course of tournament.
? One player can only play from one team.
? No new player should be allowed in between the games. Only the players who are in list should be
allowed to play. Any exceptions should be agreed with both the playing
? Team should have at least 7 member to play the game. In case there are less player than 7, opponent
team gets 2 points.
? If the match is going on and any side have less number of players. Team with less number of players is
not allowed to add players during course of the match.
I. Run outs
? Run outs on both the ends. In case of doubt Umpire should take time and consult with each other
J. Bowling Action
? Batsmen can appeal on bowling action; Umpires and Captains need to jointly decide If a bowler has
known/objectionable action, we will avoid bowling him. Because it is just 2 overs, no room for
judgment.
K. Mankading
? There should be ONE warning per team (not per batsman) for mankading. Beyond that, the batsman in
question should be given out.
L. Weather conditions
? In case, any games are not played due to continuous downpour, impacted teams will get 1 points each.
? If umpires and one team agrees to play but opponent team is not ready to resume/start the match (due
to bad weather/any other reason). Team, who is not ready to play, losses the match and gets 0 point.
M. Runner/Substitute
? No runner will be provided for the batsmen under any conditions.
? Injured player can be substituted for fielding for only one time during a match. If he gets injured again
in the next match, he will not be substituted.
? Substitutes during the match will not be allowed to bowl.
N. Flexible Schedule
? The organizers can make slight adjustments to the tournament schedule based on factors such as
workload of the teams or weather. Ex: to ensure that no team has to play more than 2 matches
continuously the next match might be played earlier to allow for some time for the other team to
recover. This however shall be done after informing the captains
O. Drinks
? Water Bottles will be provided to all Teams.
P. Punctuality
? We will be strict on penalties due to delays. If players are missing at the time of the match, then match
will commence with available players. If captains have not reported, matches will be forfeited to the

opponent team.
? Teams not reporting in time will be disqualified and their opponents will get 2 points.
? Team should be at ground 30 mins before starting of game.
? Toss will be held 20 mins before the game.
Q. Field restriction
? Maximum of five fielders outside the fielding circle.
? At the most, five fielders can be on the leg side, at any given point of time.
? If any of these rules is violated, an umpire will call the delivery a no ball.

All teams participating must sign a waver indicating that any damaged caused to the Ground property or
neighboring personal property of any one while playing is their responsibility and that HCA e.V will not be
held responsible for that. All teams and their players must abide by the rules and regulations of the Park
they are playing in; like no alcoholic drinks, no Smoking, no public indecent exposure.
The Tournament Committee reserves the right to amend the Rules at any time if it considers such action to
be in the best interests of the competition. Committee holds the right to cancel any team for mis-conduct
(money not refundable)
