Leather ball cricket tournament shall be played on the league-cum knock-out basis on Turf / Astro turf wicket, whereas Tennis ball cricket tournament shall be played on knock-out basis on Astro turf wicket.
The tournament shall be played in accordance with the laws of cricket (2000 Code 4th Edition - 2010) of BCCI.
Each team shall bat 20 over for Leather ball tournament (Duration max 90 Minutes)
No bowler shall bowl more than one fifth of total / agreed / prescribed number of over in an inning.
In case of tied match during knock out phase, the match shall be decided with the One Over Per Side Eliminator (Number of wicket fall shall not be taken into account)
In case of tied match during league phase, each team shall get one point (Number of wicket fall shall not be taken into account). Winner team will get two points.
In the event of teams finishing on equal points in the points table at the end of the League, the position of the teams will be decided as under:
1.The team with the most number of wins.
2.If still equal, the team with the highest net run rate.
A team's net run rate is calculated by deducting from the average runs per over scored by that team throughout the competition, the average runs per over scored against that team throughout the competition.
In the event of a team being all out in less than its full quota , the calculation of its net run rate shall be based on the full quota of over's to which it would be entitled and not on the number of over's in which the team was dismissed.
Each team shall report on ground 30 minutes before scheduled match time with proper playing kit. If any team fails to report in time, walk-over shall be awarded.
If any player is found playing for more than one team, the strict actions including termination of participation of the team allowing the said player will be taken with immediate effect by the committee.
There Shall be no verbal discussion / argument with any official / ground staff on any disputed matter. It may be communicated in writing to organizing committee.
The decision of jury of committee / organizing committee will be final, binding to all participating players / team managements and it will not be challenged by anybody in any court of law.
The organizers will not be responsible for any kind of loss /damage / injury to any person or property during the tournament.
Misconduct /misbehavior on or off the ground will be reported to the police for necessary action.
Organizing committee reserves all the rights to formulate / change / amend any rule at any time during the tournament.
